Creating a MySQL Database using Cpanel

It's actually alot easier than you'd think. From the cpanel main page, click on mysql. Then:

1) Create a new database -- you can call it cart (or blog, or gallery, or whatever.)
2) Create a username called cart (or log, or gallery, or admin, etc.). It doesn't have to match the other username. Be sure to keep the password you make up.
3) Add that user to the database you made, using the drop down lists and the 'Add user to database' button.

Note that the username and database name automatically change to include your cpanel name, as yourusername_cart. The host name is localhost as long as you're connecting from within your web page.
