How do I access the Raw Logs from cPanel?

cPanel comes with a number of log analyzing programs such as AWStats and Webalyzer, but suppose you have your own log analyzing program and wish to go over the logs yourself.

First you will need to enable raw loggging.  Because raw logs can take up so much space, we do not configure accounts to keep the raw logs automatically.
- From the cPanel 11 interface, click on Raw Access Logs.
- Put a checkmark in "Archive Logs in your home directory at the end of each stats run".
- If you are going to keep raw logs, we recommend that you also opt to remove each previous months logs.  If you do not choose this option, you will want to periodically remove the excess log files yourself.

Once log archiving has been enabled for at least a day, you will have access to each previous day's raw logs through this same interface.  Simply click on a domain to download its logs in gzip format.
